Mariaelena, whenever I decide to take a look at one of your reviews, I'm always reminded of the story of that English truck driver who, a few weeks ago, was determined to reach the city no matter what, taking all the rough roads. As the streets became more treacherous, he became more stubborn about crossing them, even though he apparently was a terrible driver. He ended up getting stuck in a dead end, causing 6 wrecked cars and sending 3 people to the hospital, making the third page of the newspapers. A woman, emerging from one of the rather battered cars (both her and the car), exclaimed: "IF I HAD A GUN, YOU MOTHERFUCKER, I'D SHOOT YOU." The man replied: "MADAME... IF I HAD A GUN, I'D SHOOT MYSELF."

"mah" really means that I have no words, what could I possibly say? If I had something to say, I wouldn't have said "mah," at most "beh" (used as an expression of sharing ideas with a doubtful yearning), "boh" (as an expression of displeasure with an uncertain spirit), "uhm" (as an expression of doubt with a willing push towards reflection), "ehm" (an expression of doubt with a lazy inflection towards resignation), up to a (rather rare) "oibo'," a resigned impulse in place of the inadequacy of any potential opinion...
