Nine Inch Nails Ghosts I-IV

However, I don't understand why when Reznor changes direction (With Teeth, Year Zero) it suddenly becomes "commercial" and "trite." When he does something alternative (find me a well-known band that releases an album of 36 instrumental tracks), then he is seen as "washed up." I believe that Trent's genius still has so much to say, leveraging not necessarily the song form but further transforming it, as he has already done over these 20 years.
Nine Inch Nails And All That Could Have Been. Live
Voto:
I listened to the limited edition today. The first CD is technically well done; the (small) variations on the tracks from Pretty Hate Machine are nice. The rest of the tracks are identical to the studio versions, and it's a shame because with a bit more improvisation, this live performance could have been monumental, on par with Live At Leeds or Made In Japan. Rating 3.
The second disc is a gem, truly a masterpiece. Fantastic. Rating 5.

Well? The tracks? The music? You could have talked about it a hell of a lot more. So, the album deserves many repeated listens. It's not easy to digest. It's an album to be listened to in solitude, perhaps in the dark, maybe looking at old photographs or reading letters from people who are no longer in our lives. That's how I see it. For me, it's a fantastic album. Innovative and cinematic. Regarding the marketing operation, I prefer this one to that of Radiohead simply because here you can choose from various formats: the In Rainbows discbox was that and nothing else, here you can choose between a double CD and just a DVD, etc. I give 2 to the review (incomplete and careless) and 5 to the album because it will improve over time.
Tricarico Giglio
Voto:
Very talented singer-songwriter Tricarico. It's a shame that to achieve success he has to go to Sanremo, but unfortunately, that's how the market works. You're also great and very talented.
Rocco De Rosa Rotte Distratte
Voto:
De Rosa is a MINE friend from my homeland. Long live Lucania.
Taylor Hackford Ray
Voto:
A nice, honest, and sincere film. I don't understand the criticism; it's certainly not a masterpiece, but it's a film made very well. 4.
Brian De Palma The Black Dahlia
Voto:
I saw the movie last night; technically there's nothing to say—it's per-fect. I didn't mind the choice of actors (except maybe Johansson). The plot is too complex, there's really too much going on, and watching it just once you hardly understand a damn thing. It needs to be watched at least two, three, four more times to fully grasp it. For now, I give it a 3. Great review.
