Nice review, very "professional." However, I believe the sentimental-financial trend started from here.

Lanconic Man, when I say good pop, authentic and deep pop, I mean a word and a half: KID A. That is, an album released with no advertising, no singles, no celebrations at Festivalbar or similar. An album of great POP; in fact, I like to think of that album as the ROCK OF THE FUTURE, music too ahead of its time to be appreciated today. Do I like 9 songs?? You can't count then: By The Way, Can't Stop, Throw Away, and Venice Queen—just because I say some are nice doesn’t mean I like them. The whole pop discussion is too vague to be understood; evidently, you, me, and the bassist have very different ideas about pop. I distinguish pop into crap (90% of what's heard on MTV) and refined pop (Kid A, Ok Computer, Violator...). Lanconic Man, I remind you of your idea that everyone has their own tastes, so I personally don’t like this album, and I'm saying it for the 101st time. So you can threaten me, but it doesn’t appeal to me, because I find it a bland album. I still believe the Peppers can’t make another album like BSSM; in fact, FOR ME, One Hot Minute is an UNCLASSIFIABLE DISASTER, even though there are some successful funk attempts (Aeroplane, Walkabout). Californication is beautiful because it blends rock and funk with some gems, some experiments that worked out great (Porcelain, Road Trippin'). But today, that joy, that carefree spirit, that imagination, that madness that were present on the eve of BSSM are no longer there, THAT'S MY OPINION.

Another thing that makes me think this way is the live venue, where I was completely let down... And just to clarify, I repeat: I don't want another BSSM, because I know the Peppers won't do it and they wouldn't even be able to, but at least they shouldn't tarnish and throw away their past as great funk musicians, like what happens in the live setting (I still hope you agree with me that the last tour had a vomit-inducing setlist). That said, I have to admit that I love POP, but when I talk about POP, I mean authentic, deep POP, and I love POP artists of this caliber, so it's a pop that is neither blue, and unfortunately I have to repeat it, by the way…

I KNOW what you think about pop, it’s the same thing I think, but, you see, SEEING THE RHCP ON TOP OF THE POP, SEEING THE RHCP RELEASE A GREATEST HITS (where the most pop songs are included and the GEMS are missing), SEEING THE RHCP RELEASE A LIVE ALBUM A FEW MONTHS LATER JUST BECAUSE THE COMPILATION DIDN'T SELL, these are things that make me think that these guys have SOLD OUT, just like what happened with Vasco etc etc, everyone says Vasco makes rock, but now he’s just selling out, the same goes for the RHCP. Sure, the level of pop is different from that of blues, but, I have to admit, the Peppers have sold out...

For Psykedelik: say something sensible too, something that can spark a discussion; if you just cheer from the sidelines, dialogue will never happen. Share your ideas and opinions, I am open to any criticism.

Ps I'm super calm, maybe you "hear" me as nervous or agitated, but I'm really calm and VERY HAPPY to engage with those who think differently from me, freedom is exactly this. One thing I'm convinced of: at the end of the party, I won't change your ideas nor will you change mine. But it's absolutely wonderful to exchange opinions. If we are nervous, it's because we care a lot about this group, you care to defend it and I care to attack it in a ring that I consider weak.

First of all, I never said ADORATI, so you don’t know how to read. I mentioned groups that made history in music because they brought something new and created more than one masterpiece, unlike the Peppers who have only made one. MY OPINION (happy now?) No, By The Way is not innovative because it’s POP, and POP is not innovative. If you say BY THE WAY is INNOVATIVE, I want to know why! When Blood Sugar Sex Magik was released, people shouted miracle because the Peppers presented a new, unprecedented genre, which was a mix of punk, funk, rap, hard rock, and other genres (including your beloved POP), all blended beautifully, that’s why BSSM is a fantastic album! I don’t want another BSSM; I simply don’t want the Peppers to tarnish their reputation, like what happens live, for example. YOU MUST AGREE WITH ME THAT LIVE TRACKLISTS ARE CRAP, RIGHT?? Homework: explain to me why BY THE WAY is INNOVATIVE, tell me what you think about live tracklists, especially in the BY THE WAY concerts.

I don't think Aerosmith will release another album; they are now tired, old, and unmotivated. They have put out two live albums in the last two years (You Gotta Move in 2004 and Rockin' The Joint in 2005). They're basically done. I fear.

First of all, ignorant in the sense that you IGNORE what I feel, not in a general way. Then at the beginning you write "my agitated bassist," but do you even know who you are?? Then I'm not trying to climb the walls, since my opinion remains this: BY THE WAY, shitty album. THEN "as you wanted to prove, you understand absolutely NOTHING about music," are you God by any chance?? Or do you really not know how to read or write?? I couldn't care less about your opinions, you can write whatever you want because I won’t change your opinion nor will you ever change mine. And I really don't care what you listen to, whether it's Ramones or Sex Pistols, I didn't ask you and I don't want to know, since YOU HAVE NO CRITICAL SPIRIT, you appreciate everything MTV hands you and you like it, good job, keep it up. By commercial, I mean what MTV & Company plays.
Dear boy, I call you ignorant again because YOU DON'T KNOW that I HAVE ALL THE PEPPERS RECORDS!! that I've seen them live a thousand times, so again IGNORANT, because you ignore things, you spout nonsense without knowing who you're talking to, nor the tastes of who is speaking, or rather who is writing! Dedicated to who ONE HOT MINUTE?? REPEAT??? dedicated to RIVER PHOENIX, great friend of Flea. I repeat, don’t say again that I’m unable to listen because you don’t know my musical experiences, you don’t know what I listen to, what I play, and I DON’T WANT TO TELL YOU, unlike you who throw names like Ramones & Sex Pistols in a context that has nothing to do with it! BSSM was REVOLUTIONARY that’s why it’s a masterpiece, this album is not revolutionary. FAILED.
