The fact that everyone compares any prog metal group to Dream Theater clearly means that they are the benchmark and therefore the best band.

Making such radical reviews makes no sense.

Anyway, in my review I didn't talk about PLAGIARISM or NON-PLAGIARISM, or simply about the use of riffs or anything else from other albums, but simply that these are songs that "leave something behind." I don't doubt anything because there are very few, and I mean really very few, who have invented a genre. No one says, "The Verdena plagiarized Nirvana because they play Grunge," or "Radiohead made an obvious album because they draw from Pink Floyd." It seems obvious to me that there can't be true revolutions, and one way or another, everyone is inspired by something. This is not a criticism, but just an observation, taking into consideration and without criticizing, on the contrary, appreciating Bowie & Barrett for having the courage to express their ideas.

Aside from my young age, I am a HUGE FAN of bands like "Pink Floyd," "Van Der Graaf Generator," "Gians," "Led Zeppelin," "Deep Purple," "Guns," "Radiohead," "Malmsteen," "Genesis"... should I keep going? Anyway, I’ve known Dream Theater since Falling Into Infinity (my brother is older and has known them longer). I’ve seen 2 concerts already (+1 in Bologna on October 30)... I’m not a rookie... and honestly, my age has nothing to do with it. Why do you think a 17-year-old can’t listen to stuff from 30 years ago... I also know the Liars (who else besides me??) and I love Sonic Youth (how great is "Daydream Nation"???) and David Bowie, the Pixies, Queen... etc.
