Thank you, silverblasco, for the re-welcome. I see that the obsession with harassing that handsome man, Mr. Rossi (a man with an equally ordinary surname), is not over. I would like to know from the fans of this little guy what they think about the MITTTICO live-antology-buoni-e-cattivi-duemi laecinque-doppio-ciddì-e-triplo-div idì-e-quadruplo-chichiricchì. I already know the comment from the non-fans, it would be pointless to express it; I want to know what the enthusiasts of the GREATEST ROCKER...Italian (ah, now it all makes sense) think! Thank you.

Dear .:°°:. the real problem isn't whether the grit is always the same, but whether the ideas and the ways in which these ideas are expressed fall within that artistic field that should be music. If you haven't understood well, making music to say the same things over and over is like preparing the same dish every day: at first you say "mmh, very good", after a while things get tiresome and lose their flavor. Green Day fit into this second version (at a musical level and not a culinary one, of course): in simple terms, Green Day has nothing new to play, sing, "videate" or whatever to deserve the acclaim they have as they are. Is the concept clear?

ok, giov. I was talking about a COVER, not plagiarism... I didn't mean to imply anything else in this matter; anyway, I haven't heard it, so I can't tell you more... ;)
dear Ale, the music (instrumentally speaking) must be matched with a coherent conceptual part... making energetic and cheerful music while talking about misfortunes is not the peak of coherence, in fact, they decided to "play a certain genre of music (punk)" and throw in everything that crossed their minds; as you rightly say, this is music for kids because it's senseless music, pointless music, music... noise!

But isn't "Rockin' Chair" a very old jazz tune?

Dear Ale, they certainly have their demands, indeed! Otherwise, they would stay at home instead of filling their pockets with money thanks to artistically poor artifacts. And then, is this fun music? Sure, it’s funny to hear it, given how it’s played and how it can please people... but it also brings a lot of sadness to the heart to know that most people are passionate about... shitty music!

I agree with GIOV that today's punk cannot and MUST NOT be the punk of the past: because it is inadequate and because it would bore (always the same thing). The real problem is not in the new punk, but in the poor ability to understand art by musicians, who are then called "artists" by convention.
