for Dante: thanks for the heads-up and also for the two reviews that are on debaser, honestly since you told me this morning (the name of the album and who), I haven't had the time to check if there were already any reviews, I promise as soon as I can I'll go read them, for now good night, I'm off to bed... Aloha everyone!

for Zion: Rural folk = Gente Rurale, there are many concepts that lead to the same point, for example: indicating the exploration of new possibilities as a common characteristic of human existence, or, alternative space in a physical world, or, human tendency to transcend physical limitations in order to achieve elevation.

(Anyway, not just Faletti, but also Enrico Ruggeri :-)....) Jokes aside, I understand your perspective and I respect it, but I always see so much progression. Whether Gabriel is better or worse than in the beginning is a personal judgment that we must have within us. I consider it merely a matter of experimentation and not of decline. If you read my other reviews on Gabriel, I actually explain what I feel when I listen to him, and it's true, there are many differences, but even in the concerts, I was at the "So" one and I attended the "Up" one; they were expressed in two different times, as I imagine someone who was fortunate enough to see a Genesis concert with Gabriel could say. But it's progression and experimentation. The albums I love the most are primarily Passion and then, equally, So, Us, III, Ovo, and all the others, but..... formidable.

This track is from the album "Burnt Weeny Sandwich," obviously by Frank Zappa, and as for Hex by Bark Psychosis, I don't own it, give me a brief overview and a name for comparison so I can understand, thanks.

We are born with gifts; every field has its artists, and he has always been an experimenter of himself and everything that creates life, assembling it through music, lyrics, and popular communication rather than individual expression.

always for Black: I don't understand why you gave the album a 4 (4 is almost the maximum), it doesn't align with your reasoning, I just want to understand where it comes from and it's to share others' thoughts

@ Black: the most experimented ratio of music videos, even highly awarded, you will find "only" in the times of "So," but maybe you didn't come to the last concert (anyway, he also made a DVD) in Milan, because you would have seen an abundance of visual and scenographic art that left everyone in awe. And then I would like to test others of his age (we're close to sixty) to see if they could do what he did in that concert. I can understand his daughter, who is very young, but him... I've said it many times, but since, as I see, not everyone knows, he sang an entire song hanging upside down and walking in circles without ever stopping and without a hint of physical or vocal weakness. Then you tell me. And he rode a bike while singing, danced, and jumped, and maybe you also don't know about that enormous transparent ball he used both at the concert and in Milan, walking inside it while making it spin, which is composed of the assembly of other spheres. Isn't that visual and experimental art? Do you just find it a load of rubbish? What a shame, because it is not nonsense at all; it has always been created for experimentation between matter and communication. Gabriel is a character that you "love" only if you understand him fully from the beginning with Genesis and thus grasp every sense of his persona. Otherwise, if you "don't love him," you will hardly catch the nuances. I almost forgot... have you seen the whole story of "Ovo" in video? And isn't that visual art too? Well!

@Beat: the director of this video is also a very talented actor, Sean Penn.
