A modern hard rock masterpiece. Impossible to forget songs like "Let Me Drown," "My Wave," "Limo Wreck," and the title track... they all deserve to be mentioned, but it's best to say it's just a great album. Excellent.

I liked this album... then, it's true that they are commercial puppets...

I Wings (a really cool name for a band) unfortunately I don't know them... but your review is wonderful.

I read in an interview (I think in the archives of thefade.net) that Nick Oliveri was kicked out because he was hitting his girlfriend, and this was behavior that Homme couldn’t accept. I haven't listened to "Lullabies..." but I'd like to. From this album, I really enjoyed "The Sky Is Falling," "Go With The Flow," "A Song For The Deaf," and "God Is On The Radio."

I like "Whipping" and I don't like it. Sometimes yes, sometimes no.

Dear Mr. wrecking ball, it's always a pleasure to read your comprehensive comments... thank you so much, and also to everyone else. In fact, I didn't expect to enjoy this album so much either... it's quite a nice journey.

I heard that the CD is inspired by a book.

It’s definitely an album worth listening to, even though it’s an extremely bizarre experience. And a title like “Ubu Dance Party” is brilliantly silly.

Thanks, Antimo. I think it's better if you add them because lately I haven't been using the PC much and my friend took back the CD... would you recommend the works of David Thomas with the Two Pale Boys? If so, which ones? What do you think of Thomas's early solo works? ("The Sound Of The Sand," "More Places Forever," etc.)
