So, Steve Vai - Satriani - Malmsteen - Petrucci (the fantastic four, loved by many and equally hated by others) I definitely include... then I like Kirk Hammett - Michael Romeo (hasn't he come up yet??) - Zappa - Van Halen - Steve Morse - Blackmore - Marty Friedman - Randy Rhoads - Jeff Loomis (Nevermore, unfortunately very underrated) - Iommi and a few others (Kiko Loureiro, Schenker, old Angus, Page...). Unfortunately, I can't stand Hendrix and I don’t like him at all, but I have to acknowledge that historically he is definitely one of the most important (still, I hate him and consider him overrated in certain respects).

I would say I could have spent a few more words on the meaning of the concept... but music comes first and cannot (and should not) be inferior to the meaning of the concept... especially for Symphony X (anyway, I said they are artists even before musicians).

I had heard something from their previous album (underworld) and I was very impressed by them (in the sense that I liked them a lot). The only off note was, in my opinion, the singer David Readman (great, but not suitable for the prog style of Adagio)... is the new one better?
