I also appreciate the sensitivity that emerges from your words about a Branduardi album that I like but don't consider to be among his best. Once again, I'm not entirely convinced by your ornate language, which, in my humble opinion, risks weighing down concepts and images that are at times very beautiful. I will try to read other things you've written, also venturing into albums you have reviewed that I know well.
Vinicio Capossela Camera a Sud

Very dense and interesting review. I confess that the long introduction, which you define as unnecessary, is actually, in my humble opinion, a bit hard to digest. You use very elaborate language, bordering on the academic, to express content that isn’t immediately accessible, but which I nonetheless agree with. I prefer the description of the work itself to your commendable effort in defining the character Vinicio from all angles within the socio-cultural context and the scope of his artistic journey. Anyway, well done.

Billy Bragg Don't Try This At Home

And then it’s simply called "inventiveness" and not "inventivity." Or are you perhaps creating your own language? Like Tolkien's Elvish? Will you provide us with handouts in the future to help us navigate the intricate labyrinth of your daring yet banal images? Anyway, hooray for grammar teachers, Orwell. There are those who love to criticize and those who value decency in writing. If I were a fan of Billy Bragg, I would be furious.

Goodness gracious! I stepped away for a second and look what I missed... How could I? There you are, and Bonny, you really made me laugh... I don't have much to add. But, at the risk of being pedantic, I would ask you not to descend into personal insults towards Mariaelena, regarding her appearance or what can be gleaned from her texts about her character and personality. Let's not stoop to her level. This is HER prerogative, unfortunately for her. Let's stick to the reviews which, as you can see, are very entertaining!!!! If the "melodies (of Bragg) are all the emblematic radiance of surfaces torn by a bursting internal energy," Mariaelena's reviews recently threatened to rip my nuts off. Today I actually took a break to get my precious and bursting 37 serviced. And the bursting internal energy, for me, is what makes me fart, along with dear Cooloras, I believe. I quote: “The combative movement of ideals that regulate the spirit to demonstrate that a man, as well as an artist of himself, cannot shut himself up in an ivory tower, but must be involved and projected into society, must highlight the interesting search for expression with the practice of fantasy and behavioral inventiveness." My God. Are you talking about flamingo mating, The Neverending Story, the menstrual cycles of the female wildebeest, the cultivation of borlotto beans, a herniated disc, or perhaps the technique of anal intruding? You project the man, as well as the Debaserian, into anxiety and existential uncertainty. You take on quite a responsibility.
Depeche Mode The Best of... Volume 1

In my opinion (Bisius & Co.) Playing The Angel is a good album. It just took me longer to appreciate it. I saw Depeche live twice in 2006: songs like "Lilian" and "The Sinner In Me" are phenomenal live. Useless compilation. How do they still need money after a fully sold-out world tour?

I couldn't manage to read it all. I hope Caz, Pietrone, and the rest of the gang don't hold it against me... The review is less tiring than others you've written. Your command of language is always remarkable. I'm almost tempted to ask you if you're a fake... at least of yourself... well, this doubt will keep me awake at night.

Write well, there’s little to say about this. But here the writing talent somewhat veers into pedantry (no offense!) due to the excessive length, which has already been widely pointed out. Being both essential and exhaustive at the same time is not easy at all. Being wordy while keeping the reader's attention alive is difficult too... Anyway, well done.

But aren't my grades valid? Why don't I get an average? Just because I'm... "different"? Damn you all... The wrath of my 37 will descend upon the editors. And their malfunctioning algorithms. And for fuck's sake.
