Excellent review, beautiful and poetic, it was just what I needed now that I’m getting into The Cure more extensively (so far I only know Disintegration and the more famous tracks). "A Forest" is simply genius, perhaps the true essence of what is defined as dark wave. Moreover, I fully share the Smith thought: "why be afraid to talk about death, after all, it belongs to us too" - I think so too.
