The truth always lies in between: What ZiOn says about music and what it should convey is true, and it’s equally true that if you are a guitar enthusiast (or guitarist), a live performance like this has a certain charm. I would be curious to hear "little wing" and "vodoo child," I hope they haven't ruined them like they did back then with "Red house," too flashy and pretentious...

Let’s say you’re right from a certain point of view since SRV was 100% blues, while Hendrix, starting from it, created something entirely different, from rock to psychedelia. However, no one has ever interpreted songs like "little wing" or "voodoo child" quite like SRV.

You call it a masterpiece and then you give it 4 stars? The best of Anthrax, as Asdrubale already said, is "Among the Living."

A modest recession, but there's one thing I disagree with: to me, the best spiritual disciple of J. Hendrix will always be Stevie Ray Vaughan.
David Lee Roth Eat 'Em And Smile

I believe you said it all, really: "it's simple and straightforward," that definition is enough for me to avoid it, maybe I've just become demanding over the years...
