A very mundane case of parapsychology then :)
Type O Negative Slow, Deep And Hard

One of the absolute masterpieces of the '90s, partly thanks to the fantastic lyrics (read them!). A shoutout to Stargazer for having the good taste to be inspired by my review for the opening (don’t worry, I’m not asking you for royalties).
Iron Maiden Iron Maiden
Voto:
Oh yes, in Metal the only decent ones are Pantera, Metallica, and Irons. Everything else is crap, like Nevermore, Opeth, Katatonia, My Dying Bride, Amorphis, Morgion, Queensryche, Darkane, Edge Of Sanity, Meshuggah, Voivod, Anathema, Cathedral... But why not, also Today Is The Day, Neurosis, Isis, Unsane, Strapping Young Lad, Ministry, Converge, and Mastodon... All crap, always and anyway.
The Sisters of Mercy Floodland
Voto:
Yeah, I also think the previous one is on Olympus, this one a little lower down. Nevertheless, the combination of Flood I - II is stunning.
Moonspell Wolfheart
Voto:
In my opinion, Moonspell have been overrated. However, I've reassessed them negatively. Let's be clear, "Wolfheart" is excellent and I like it, but aside from this and half of "Irreligious," there’s nothing else of value. A bit little for a band that is often hailed as the pinnacle of Gothic Metal and that has dragged along through several increasingly mediocre albums up to this day.
Enthroning Silence Unnamed Quintessence of Grimness
Voto:
"We chase misprinted lies," said a certain someone who hasn’t been gone for long, and it didn't sound like Black Metal...
Katatonia Dance Of December Souls
Voto:
"Brave Murder Day" is more mature, but it is also truly fantastic, one of the most important albums by Katatonia and of Doom altogether.
Amorphis Eclipse
Voto:
I didn't even know this album had been released, but for me, Amorphis stopped at Tuonela. What came after leaves me pretty cold.
