You're right, I should have spent a little more on the concept... anyway, not one of my best reviews...

An unforgettable and essential album, but the review doesn't say much... apart from the usual biographical notes... goodbye!

So it seems we agree: none of the GD supporters knows what the hell is so great about this band (even the Beatles fans didn't know). I deduce from this that they are a bunch of nobodies, built just to achieve "success", to sell, to "entertain". The absurd thing, though, is that if I say they are "commercial" to the bone, and that they are "superficial" like many of those who listen to them, I risk being lynched. It's crazy that there are people who write things like: "GD are in the charts, they are famous, and the crap bands you listen to are unknown": but what are we talking about? The "charts"??! I said they can’t play: then, they're a great supermarket purchase, the producers know a thing or two about that...

I meant, Aniel, that it is the "philosophical" (and certainly not trivial) nature of the texts that makes them cryptic, while still being essentially anti-Christian, in a sense that needs to be specified (but, for pity's sake!!!, let's drop this topic :) )...
Honestly, there's one thing I really didn't understand: "mayhem, if we weren't talking about religion, the texts of the album wouldn't need to exist"... could you explain that to me better, Emanuele?

Undoubtedly, you can, but it’s not like you "have to." Here, there’s not just gratuitous blasphemy; it "seems" to me that I wrote it: one should read the texts (many of them quite cryptic, to be honest) before drawing "absolute" conclusions like yours. Giving a 1 to an album like this seems exaggerated to me: in the end, we’re mainly talking about music here, not personal beliefs, religious ideas, or anything else. Otherwise, we’ll never get anywhere...
Gli Atroci L'armata del Metallo

Nice review, first of all. I think the album is not bad, even though there are indeed some avoidable passages: mainly I like "L'armata del metallo," "Ragazzi a pezzi" (ultra-trash), and "Quel Mazzolin Di Borchie" ("Lassù nella valle/Si ascolta METALLO" (sic)). But 19 tracks are excessive... it’s not even a masterpiece of originality, especially since the attitude seems too much copied from those who "in a world of nursery sang the adventures of Mazinga Porno," and some things aren't even funny, not even when tickled. However, it’s played well, really, and they shouldn’t be taken too seriously... or should they?

You're being "slightly" sarcastic, Zi0n... or am I wrong?

But they are crude, what can you do, that’s just how they are... putting the image aside, I actually like their music.
