Perhaps a trivial question: but do you listen to the albums before critiquing them?

I’ve been criticized (almost) for every comma: it often happens when an artist is well-known, in 90% of cases because everyone who writes deludes themselves - blessed illusion - into thinking they know him perfectly. "He’s famous, I know him like he’s my brother, matuchecazzonesai." It would happen the same way if I wrote about the Maiden (which I do NOT dare to do!). Of course, I’ve written some nonsense (it happens): I get it. Undying, I don’t understand what more Satriani was supposed to do, since he has ā€œonlyā€ dedicated his life ā€œto searching for the [...] sound, to creating [...] style as well as loosening [his] fingers with the metronome.ā€ You said nothing: he has technique, he sought, and he knew how to (re)create. Although I don’t particularly love ā€œguitar heroes,ā€ I’ve always had a particular preference for him; he may not be a genius, but he has taste. Much more than others...

Yes, but the NWOBHM influences and the photocopy solos, to be honest...

I really don't understand what sense an "operation" like this makes: on the contrary, I do understand it ($$$)

Uh, if the last things are "Exit," I would have some objections...

In my opinion, grand declaration is pathetic... the mayhem are born with Deathcrush and die with De Mysteriis.
