Alright, it seems like there's a war of feelings and sweet nothings going on! Take it easy, because the sea never runs dry and stays full forever, and when you see it today, you'll completely forget about Milan and work. P.S. = In a few days I'll see the concert of SattaG and Vitu Vinicolo organized by a friend of mine.

I recently happened to listen to this album again. As Edoardo Bennato says: They are just little songs, but on the other hand, Italian music is made up of little songs; leaving aside all the underground genres, Italian music is popular music, it’s summer hits, and in the 90s, the 883 were Italian music. So, no matter how childish, naïve, and particularly adolescent this album might be, it has to be said that it represented a social and cultural situation in Italy within the music scene. The 883 were a group that represented teenagers and their relationship with society, introducing that vibe of “cool kids” which today, and only today, we can translate into “losers” and “You’re a legend.” The Italian new wave wasn’t too bad either; if it had been sung in English by another band like Erasure or others, everyone would have liked it more. After the trash gem of Repetto, the dancer from "certe notti" (he now lives in Paris; some say he works at Disneyland), we can't overlook the extraordinary participation of Caterina, who sings Arcobaleno with Max Pezzali. She was 16 then; where is she now? What has become of her? What does she do? Yet that awkward yet sweet voice could have been better utilized, right? Alert! Alert! Scour all the blogs on the internet and give me some news!

Gary Numan The Pleasure Principle
Voto:
Yes, I'm not very familiar with this album, but I have "the collection" and I enjoy it a lot. Gary Numan is a pioneer of synth pop and definitely one of the best.

I'm not joking, in fact I agree with the reviewer in saying that it's a great album. A friend of mine burned it for me after downloading it years ago with good old "Napster". Ah, I almost forgot the ratings...
Amon Amarth Fate Of Norns
Voto:
I'm sorry dear Attila, I must contradict you! I believe, first and foremost, that Amon Amarth are the only ones to have truly developed the genre launched by Bathory, and in my opinion, they are the best current viking metal band. It is certainly true that the sound has changed compared to other albums like "The Crusher" and that more epic and symphonic melodies have been introduced, but the change is positive and is connected to an idea of improvement. The title track is superb, among my absolute favorite songs.

They only released two albums, including this one from 1983 (demo), and one in 2005 (I mean, 25 years later, I don't know if I'm making myself clear) titled: "The Dungeon Tapes." Despite everything, they managed to become a cult phenomenon, American epic metal heroes. It's like saying... those rare little metallic gems.

Well, in short, psychedelic understood as "able to take you on a psychological journey," I would definitely say yes, or at least that's the effect it had on me (well, I don't remember if I was a bit high, but I really enjoyed listening to it). Of course, I'm not talking about psychedelia in the sense of blurred sounds and strange digital effects.
