Ok longlive I haven't listened to the album, and I'm staying far away from it!!!! In return, Iron Maiden also play metal but they're a whole different thing, they really have released 5-star albums! Anyway, I respect other people's views even if I don't agree...

Great review, definitely critical and not the usual "I hype the band because I like them"! Really awful group, I join those who hate them... Goodness, what a pile of rubbish in terms of both genre and characters!

Well, within Punk there are a multitude of different styles. The Ramones don't seem that surf-like to me; leather jackets and ripped jeans are punk for me... a band that truly embodies the punk stereotype is the Exploited, mohawks and various stuff, right? The Clash only really produced punk with their first album, maybe something from the second, but after that, they really went downhill.

Ok, I gave the album a 5, the band is a legend of hardcore, it's one of my favorites in the genre, it was revolutionary (even if fast stuff was already around back then)... the message exists and I believe I understand it, but if we take a closer look, it's pretty pathetic to be so self-indulgent like old Ian does (or has he gone through the Farinelli treatment and doesn’t really think about sex anymore?)... much more human is a healthy fuck unless you’re getting down like dogs, mentally speaking! ;)
