Slipknot Vol. 3 (The Subliminal Verses)

Britpopper, do you think I should have wasted my time copying the review of this album? I reviewed it right after listening to it four or five times. Matteo, what do you want to say? That I follow the crowd? I don’t know, sometimes you’re incomprehensible. Anyway, if that’s what you meant, I think if I really followed the crowd I’d be blasting Slipknot. Luckily, I listen to better music.

I watched the video for the single on rock tv; nice, direct, but nothing new. I don't know the album just like I don't know the others. I'll try to get the first one. Francis, why does the cover ape the QOTSA?

very good, although too satanic for my tastes. on one of their sites, it says they play <<satanic evil death metal>> and apparently they go around burning churches... baura ehh?!? nice review.

Stefano, it's not really normal for you to listen to a band (Oasis) and at the same time claim that they make shit music; and then you also want to silence Matteo by telling him he listens to music that is <<undoubtedly>> terrible.. you seem a bit contradictory. Anyway guys, let's take it easy; everyone listens to whatever they like!

I share the opinions of easycure and psycho, but a 5 for this live has to be given forcefully... but it's a political (rather, historical) 5.

You've gone on too long about some historical details, but anyway, great review and great album. I agree that the lyrics are stupid and immature.

Matteo, always very refined and correct.. Stefano, you could have spared us the Gallagher example.. technically he may be better than Mick and James, but he’s the guitarist of one of the most commercial and repetitive bands on the planet. It would have been enough to use Frusciante as an example, just to stay within the crossover realm.

Matteo, I’ve read reviews and articles in some magazines that explicitly make fun of various groups. Just take a look at something about Limp Bizkit.. I'm not trying to justify myself, but I repeat that every reviewer decides to express their opinion about a band (or an album) however they want. If you don't agree that Slipknot has gone downhill and that their acoustic tracks feel commercial to me, don't come telling me "shame," instead just say you disagree.
