Dredg The Pariah, The Parrot, The Delusion
Voto:
I preferred the second part of the album. Dredg are never banal, even if there are some solutions that I can't quite digest.

I have to fully agree with you... five years ago, who knows what the hell was going through my mind... thank you for the 2, which is quite generous ;-) I haven't been on this site in a while, and I saw that you're new. I would love to read your review.
Slipknot Vol. 3 (The Subliminal Verses)
Voto:
Dear anonymous, I believe that putting on masks, dropping your pants in front of the public, and doing similar bullshit is not something that down-to-earth people, as you say, do. I have listened to all their albums, even the demo "mate feed kill repeat," and I also saw them in Bologna at the Flippaut a few years ago. Honestly, I was impressed by the self-titled "slipknot," because I found it original, but their later works left me, to say the least, perplexed. I think that nine people put together can create much more decent music than what these have proposed. Anyway, de gustibus non est disputandum...
Rage Against the Machine Evil Empire

I don't like their lyrics... then they glorify Malcolm X, who was the leader of the Black Panthers, a movement against white people... and they're communists, so they should really avoid being moralistic. Anyway, I appreciate their music, I'm even going to see them in Modena. But this album is the worst they've put out.

Strange this CD... I still need to listen to it more closely, so I won't rush to judgment. However, I don't think it's the same as the others, nor do I believe that the others are all the same among themselves. I notice an evolution, and I like it because it doesn't completely disrupt the original style. I agree with what kurtTheFish says. Moreover, I think josh homme deserves praise for managing to keep a band alive that seemed destined for death after the departure, in succession, of all the other members. Anyway, you're being too harsh on this reviewer. In the end, he writes well; it's just that we might not agree... but in a civil manner, of course.

Maloscantores Musica Sarda
Voto:
You could have introduced these maloscantores to us better, considering that there are few of us who know them (not all of us are Sardinians). I won't vote for the album because I haven't listened to it (I've never liked hip-hop). Anyway, there's too much racism in this forum.

I've listened to this album several times, but it didn't excite me much... the "Hispano-American" solution had already been proposed by Ricky Martin in a pop key, and I wasn't a big fan of that either... presented by a nu-metal group, it annoys me even more. As for the rest, they are rehashing patterns already introduced by other bands. What I mean is that they haven't invented anything new. They may be decent, but they're way overrated. I'm giving them a passing grade, but I much prefer Sepultura (the Cavalera era), Soulfly, and Puya. I highly recommend the latter group.

I haven't listened to the album yet... but if you hate it so much, you could have saved a few words.
