AA.VV. Festival della Canzone Italiana: prima (e per me ultima) serata
Voto:
Brilliant review, I liked it, even though I don't agree 100%.
I already said that Oxa brought a nice song, but I preferred Dolcenera, perhaps for the rock attitude (8attitudine, attenzione). For the others, I'm more or less in agreement, even about Zero Assoluto and Nomadi (second opinion). Well done. Looking forward to a Sanremo with music (and artists) from a wide range, reflecting the music in Italy, which is not just light. I don't love (at all) Rap, I love Rock, and just last year there were quite varied songs, like those from La Differenza and Negramaro. Waiting, waiting...

Thank you, Pib! Well, when you love music and review your favorite albums, it's always like that; you try to convey something beautiful!

FANTASTIC ALBUM, where the Californian boys showcase all their talent. Congratulations to them for a truly rare record.

Nice record, with typically rock 'n roll sounds, but due to the lack of alternatives, I give the album a not-so-high rating. The Hella of Supershitty and Payin were something else.

Right Pibroch, I forgot about Oxa. A song like that, with that setup and that singing style, wasn't suited for Sanremo, nor for Festivalbar... let's say it wasn't fit for any national or international event, but it certainly is unique, something to appreciate, and I believe I appreciated it as well. But now let's get back to good old Rock ' Roll, hoping they'll soon put my review of "Total 13" by the Backyard Babies online. ...A bit of advertising never hurt!

I'm giving it a 2 for the album because there are songs like those of Cristicchi, Oxa, Dolcenera, the Nomadi, and L'Aura that I don't dislike at all, in the desolate landscape of Italian music. Dolcenera has a song that might have a title that's a bit too obvious, but it's beautiful. I liked the review, and I gave it a 2 due to differing opinions, just like with the Sugarfree, who are certainly not clones of Vibrazioni, but way inferior. And the same goes for Zero Assoluto, because it doesn't seem to me to be that boring; there are worse things out there. Let’s say I won’t be buying the album. Sanremo reached a good level musically last year in my opinion, but this year only a few (among all those mentioned at the beginning of the comment) appealed to me.

Thank you, Lupin!! And get to listening to some Rock 'n roll, not just hard rock and psychedelics!

Rocky, supershitty is also very much to my liking, but it seems to me that it has less compositional care, correct me if I'm wrong... And then in this album (payin) the guitarist is Dregen, now the frontman of Backyard Babies (who will release their new album: People like people like people like us in mid-April) who is one of my idols!

Uhm... Fake Pibroch and Maccio Capatonda seem to know absolutely nothing about music; they come here without any invectives or arrows in their quiver, ruining the comments of the first review by a new member of DeBaser just to get noticed. But perhaps they don’t realize that the civil people and music lovers who write on this site want to talk about music, maybe comparing notes, but certainly without falling into insults and comments like these. Go and comment on some nice silly site; you’re cut out for that. Here, the reviewers just want to share their opinions and exchange them with equally serious and polite people. Best regards to everyone.
