Bill Evans You Must Believe In Spring
Voto:
Great Mullah, as always! But how come I don’t know this Evans?! :-) Your words, however, leave me no doubts. A record to search for immediately, but music to be enjoyed slowly. Warm regards, JoP
Duke Ellington, Charlie Mingus, Max Roach Money Jungle
Voto:
"A certainly scalene triangle, improbable." A perfect and hyperbolic review, for sure.
César Franck - (Martha Argerich, Itzhak Perlman) Sonata per Violino e Piano in La maggiore, M 8
Voto:
Great comeback, Lello, with the chamber Franck. However, my favorites by César are the works for organ, along with those of another great from across the Alps, Louis Vierne. Best regards to you and the loggione :-) JoP
Diana Krall The Look Of Love
Voto:
Well, Grass, just for this "if something has become rigid in the meantime, it is certainly not the judgment"... you deserve a nice 5 :-)) As always, a clear and cultured review, I’ve spotted this little disc several times (I think for reasons not exactly musical...) but in the end, I’ve always left it on the shelf. And, from what I gather, I haven’t done so badly after all. Warm regards, JoP
Moondog The German Years 1977-1999
Voto:
After all that has happened (and that I have silently followed so far), here I am just to recommend this review and to bring it a little closer to the average it deserves...
Antonio Carlos Jobim The Composer Of "Desafinado" Plays
Voto:
Great Grasshopper as always, rightly highlighting the titanic compositional dimension of Tom, "the Bach of Bossa Nova." I am not familiar with the album in question, but of Jobim’s orchestral works, my two favorite pieces are "Wave" and "Tereza My Love." Cheers, JoP
Buddy Guy Sweet Tea
Voto:
Oh, well done! Buddy Guy has always put me in a good mood; he’s one of the artists I often return to. I'm not familiar with this particular album, but this rating goes to his artistic figure as I know it. Again, compliments, JoP.
Ludwig Van Beethoven Sonata per Violino e Piano No.9 "Kreutzer"
Voto:
Truly great everyone: Ludwig, Leone, and - of course - josi_ !
Maurice Ravel Tzigane, Rhapsodie De Concert
Voto:
Ah... such a cute image accompanying this review! :)
Maurice Ravel Tzigane, Rhapsodie De Concert

Beautiful page, very intriguing. And it's a pleasure to see Ravel's music on DeB again, after the equally perfect review of Grass some time ago. The references to Hungarian music are truly fitting and it really deserves to be rediscovered in its entirety (even today we have great classical performers coming from that area). I will look for it as soon as possible, thanks shark, JoP.
