Here, Dexter has always been a curiosity that I have never explored... I think it's about time to do it! Thank you, Wanderer.

I’ve been listening to it these days, and I promised myself I would drop by after savoring it slowly. Tremendously beautiful and “scary,” the second track “God's Gonna Cut You Down” alone is worth a 5 for the album. Great review, Dune Buggy, you deserve another five. Cheers, JoP

I love the raging chaos of "Part VI"... In my opinion, the best moment of the album. The reprise of "My Song" is also splendid, one of the most intense and delicate pieces by Jarrett (already wonderful with Garbarek). Hal's page has a crystalline beauty.

Hi Hal! :) Yes, it's "The Letting Go," there are already two reviews on the site. What can I say? For me, it's a 3.5, quite far from "I see a darkness" and "Superwolf." Anyway, you never know, maybe you'll reevaluate it soon (which doesn't happen with "The brave and the bold," though!) Best regards, JoP

I searched for them and listened to them calmly, after reading this truly perfect page. And I am just here to cast my vote. Hello, Hal.

"Peace and serenity" are two nouns that generally don't suit the character BPB very well, but certainly this album is calmer (and in my opinion a notch below) compared to the previous ones. It could be that I prefer Oldham more "wasted," imaginative, and contemplative than he comes across in this album, wrapped in a mist of calm with oneself (perhaps a bit artificial). 3.5, in my opinion, also for the review.

"Often those who are truly great are already so from the very beginning, without necessarily having to wait for those 'maturations' that occur more in the minds of certain critics." This belief is also mine, Socrates :-) Beautiful review, precise, timely. I’ll look for them. Bye, JoP

Great wrecking ball, everything is beautiful: from the opening quote to the hyperbolic track-by-track description. Faiv plus :-)
