Well done, very well done. Four years later, I still remember the first time an Iggy record entered my player... the smoke was rising thick... the armchair embraced me in its soft cradle... my mind was traveling to distant shores... the notes expanded the pores of my skin and entered my body like missiles... beautiful review.

I don't agree either. I think that music should ultimately be solely a translation of feelings and emotions into lyrics and sheet music. Especially for the RHCP, who have always flaunted music as a representation of their way of being. In conclusion, I don’t find One Hot Minute a masterpiece, but still a good album without too many frills. And I think that nowadays people who approach music do so more and more after being lobotomized by the media hammering of MTV and the like... it seems to me that there is a gradual loss of artistic taste for catchy jingles with videos filled to the brim with supermodels included. You see, I've always followed the Pearl Jam too, and I think their change is still acceptable because, despite radically changing course from No Code (or maybe even before?), they've produced something that is theirs, the fruit of their artistic minds. The RHCP, on the other hand, seemed satisfied becoming showbiz stars by selling their souls... but have you listened carefully to By The Way? A sneaky approach with a single that took us back 10 years, followed by insignificant little tunes that are also boring and repetitive... and Californication was the work that set all this off... maybe Frusciante could have sat this one out if he had so little to say with his guitar...

marcmat where are the red hot of blood sugar? in one hot minute they changed direction compared to their previous works but despite the doubtful opinions of the public, I appreciated it a lot... this album though I just can't digest it seems REALLY made for one reason... to sell like they’ve never sold before.... and then by the way, I think it's confirmation that the path taken starting from californication has turned a band capable of shaking your eardrums and brain into just a band of MTV stars.... and considering that the rhcp were one of the first bands that brought me closer to a certain type of music accompanying me in wonderful moments of my life, it makes me really angry to see them now, with their star nonsense and all the circus of advertisers and image curators behind them writing in big letters the answers to give to the journalist of the moment... but damn these guys used to sing with a sock on their penis and did whatever they wanted.. I understand that one can change over time but doesn’t it seem to you that perhaps, in honor of the god money, they have done it a bit too much?

little spoiled and insolent kid first of all you don't format a damn thing because rest assured that a little brat, no matter how big, I'll still kick your ass....secondly about music you don't understand a damn thing because bands like the Cure, Smashing Pumpkins, RATM, Alice in Chains, Jane's Addiction, Stone Temple Pilots, Deep Purple, Pearl Jam, Faith No More, or artists like Ben Harper, Iggy Pop and many others have never set foot in your filthy room....you listen to those assholes Slipknot who instead of making music just make noise because they're like you, frustrated by the misery of the life that lies ahead of them....you keep throwing crap into your brain without realizing that soon you'll have to face the world outside your damned microcosm if you want to survive or do something....you go on without even having a dream to fulfill that keeps you alive....you're already old before you even start living....I feel very sorry for you...and it's pointless to turn up the volume on your stereo to avoid hearing your little brain crying desperately...

See, Coppino, the beauty of this site lies in the wonderful reviews and the interesting comments from people who love music and find in it a refuge from the assholes that populate our miserable existence in this wretched society. Given that overall, everything is extremely enjoyable for those like me who have always listened to music with passion, why don't you eliminate one of the few flaws of de-baser? Only you can do it... just get the hell out of the way...

This group might be good, I don't know, I've never listened to them... but I can definitely picture Coppino out in the fields breaking stones... he could channel all that violence like that...
