Paul Verhoeven Robocop

At Freebird, the review by rua is one of the most vomit-inducing I have ever read on this site. But still, I read it. To all those who don’t want to understand Robocop, and think I’m a "De Lorenzo" of the situation: fuck you. To Nes: if you check the link I posted, you'll see that the same director was inspired by Metropolis (which, according to freebird, is crap, although I believe it’s Inter that is a crappy club). To all the sperm lovers: it’s official, adieu! I'm getting the hell out... which is much better for everyone (including me). Bye!

Dear my HI-GHLANDE, opinions are opinions. But tell me, what did it mean then? Italia Uno? The porn sites we masturbate to? The loyalty card? Italian journalism? Italian politics? Or perhaps, just perhaps, Alberto Stasi? Please, tell me what it meant! I swear, I really can't figure it out! If for you Robocop means this, then fine! Many disparaged Fritz Lang after Metropolis, but let’s put it this way: do you know what Metropolis is? And Fritz Lang? And above all, have you ever seen Metropolis? And again (to conclude) if you saw it, I’m SURE you must have been more than bored. One request, to all the assholes dressed as whores of entertainment, why instead of shitting on people's comments, don’t you respond with facts, and not with the usual bourgeois bullshit from the sports bar? (I almost miss Paolafrancesca..)

How right you are, dear Muffin! That's why I love debaser! Because assholes like you and me can come and shit nonsense without the taxman or public decency being able to do anything about it! Bring it on!

One of the most underrated films of the '80s, yet the world still feeds on the residual deviance that reigns in every scene of this film: striking police officers, drugs as the operating principle of the day, abuses, and rampant anarcho-capitalism—in two words: man-machine, meaning, man must become machine (Verhoeven's irony) to defeat the mechanical destruction that dominates the entire world! For me, it’s a brilliant film, not to mention the advertisements interspersed: "Exterminate them all!" A small question from a son of a dog: I bet the last time you watched it was back in 1987...! Watch it again now, and compare it with the current world: then let's see if anyone still has the courage to rate it a 1 or a 3...

In this wicked Italy, sinking amid television repeaters and party cards as ethereal as modern man, this book sounds like an imperceptible ultrasonic echo, although present in each of the childish minds that constitute us. Well done, Taxi, again and even more.

And here they come in droves, like heated buffaloes (forgive the neologism), hastening to beat down on a ā€œdemorecensione.ā€ Oplà. And what more can I marvel at! This site is now akin to a public restroom: between De Lorenzo and Saputello.. there's no shortage of eccentric people here! Come one, come all! (I’m waiting for yet another useless review on Timoria). Please!

What’s up, kosmo? Hi!

Pardon Kosmo, but George wrote the screenplay and didn’t direct "In the Name of the Father," which was directed by Sheridan, the one from "My Left Foot" (when Lewis wasn't loaded yet). Anyway, I completely agree on the Disney side.

Oh my God.. I definitely felt those three hours.. oh yes, I felt them! Honestly, I prefer Goodfellas and Cape Fear to this. Anyway, great job. And good review.
