Everything is closer than you might think. But who tells us that they aren't already building bases on the red planet? Who? Tell me, who?? Lies are told about the incomes of parliamentarians, and you think they won't lie about such delicate issues?? I believe that history is made by the hidden plans that power predetermines without our knowledge and on which we unknowingly lay. Everyone has their own opinion, but we don't know a damn thing about what the governments are deciding now, and what they will decide in the future for our crazy, reckless, consumerist gene.. A fantastic review, we need more of those, in fact, even more and more!! Reflecting on the absurd allows us to uncover it even where it doesn't appear to us at all.

I'll tell you, I am and remain and will always be a fan of theirs. For life. But to tell me that they haven't bent even a little to market logic, well... I don't find that entirely true: remember that twenty years ago Joe Preston played with them, people who are crazy, people who experiment, while now everything sounds a bit too polished for budget purposes (and don't get me wrong, it's necessary to keep the show going), and then they go on tour, playing with bands like Big Business that, sure, they rock as you want, but leave a lot, a lot, a lot, a lot, a lot, a lot, and a lot to be desired (in my HUMBLE opinion). The Melvins are a wonderful band that, as you say, crushes and breaks like no one ever has. However, now they are completely distracted by personal commitments (see Porn, grind projects of King Buzzo and so on...). The spirit has been lost, and their concerts, besides being chaos, don't do much anymore. I see them this way: a species on the verge of extinction to be shown to the masses like some aboriginal-cannibal along the avenues of the 19th-century streets of the past. Waiting for someone to fill the basket with money...

Dear Hypno, just call me Baffo, that's perfectly fine!!! Yes, in that era between Clock DVA, Scorn, and the likes, a revolution (silent or not...) took place. However, I particularly see in Ministry (with The Land Of Rape and Honey FIRST AND FOREMOST!!) and Godflesh a tremendous leap forward compared to certain Foetus-like sounds. I don’t consider Streetcleaner to be as “grind” as you do... perhaps it's that the speed of the tracks always remains stretched and slowed down (maybe excluding Mighty Trust Krusher), but rather, it’s a first experimental attempt at industrial-drone (in my humble opinion), different from anything that came before, not to mention the incredible and indispensable contribution that Big Black made in this regard: even though in this case, their damn drum machines made the existence of Ministry more possible than that of Godflesh (but that’s just my opinion). In the end, what bands, what a period, and what ideas... try to check out a band called Pailhead; I just discovered them recently, they’re from the same era, nothing special at first glance, but definitely better than everything that exists in that field now!!! A greeting to all of you and thank you very much, oh yes, thank you very much!

Absolutely agreed, brother, enough with these damn thirty-somethings who are full of themselves. Not to mention Stefano Accorsi, today one of the most mediocre realities of Italian cinema, long live Valerio Mastranrea!!!!!
