Ah, dear Bartle, like you, I've been here for five years as well, and when five years ago someone was writing reviews about Elio Petri, the comments were always limited to that small circle of very kind aficionados and newcomers (as I myself have been multiple times in the past, like many others), who very generously gave 5 to reviews and films, but above all, read what was being written. And then, always in a friendly spirit, I would like to say that this site has become too sprawling, certainly with a more appealing aesthetic, but with contents and relevance that are too vast and also disorganized (in my humblest opinion). My moral, however insignificant: the first time I ended up on this site, I was a jerk, but the way it was made, managed, and structured at the time helped me understand how and when to speak, as well as write reviews. And it was really cool. But now, putting myself in the shoes of someone who registers for the first time, well, besides seeing heaps of gratuitous insults (which you lament so well) taking up almost all the reviews, you start to see reviews about soccer matches, evviadicendo. If Debaser intends to compete with the Corriere Della Sera website (I invite you to visit it if you have the courage, especially for the comments), then so be it (?). On the contrary... I wouldn't know what to say! Patience.

I'm truly at a loss for words: on this site, there used to be music reviews. Then finally we started with movies, books… but paintings? video games? football matches??? To quote someone very dear to me in another interesting film: "what the hell do they have to do with DEBASER????!!!".
