Listen to me carefully, and trust me, I want to be damn nice: you can't compare THE ROAD to this movie. They're not even on the same god/jesus level. What you're trying to do is compare these two films in exactly the same way Capezzone confuses Berlusconi with Costant! If it’s not clear to you, I’ll leave you my cell number. But please, instead of playing the Belpietro of the situation, WRITE A REVIEW, at least one, and stop trying to sound important with words and discussions that don't (to me and) to you, concern you, neither for the place nor for the content. Go see Theron, screw her, get yourself off, indulge in your fantasies, or do whatever the hell you want. But please, I get it: you don't like this film, and you don't have a social life.

Discordant visions, dear Bartle! Because I believe that the alternative debaseriano average has all the credentials to conceive the "verbo intenderere", with a unique exception, the possibility of perceiving it as "composite" (of the type: in - tendere, that is to say putting in a tent --- but I want to believe that this happens only in high Brianza at 600 meters above sea level). However, I accept the lexical criticism as much as the economic one. At an Esselunga, where I worked years ago, our dear DVD cost 12 EURI, and we didn't sell "even 1 crucifix from Mefistofele who was himself crucified upside down".. Most likely, the crisis has lowered prices.. Anyway: a special greeting to Caprotti, Heidi, and all the pre-Alps of Brianza!

What can I say, an extraordinary, chilling film. In a nutshell: extremely symbolic.

Thank you Bartle, the film truly deserves a lot. Really, more than what many claim here (even though they haven't seen it).

Gentlemen, fantastic! The cinema is full of titles (and critics) that aren't for me! Here’s my list (the movies, of course, coming soon): BASILICATA COAST TO COAST, DEPARTURES, GREEN ZONE, THE EX-TERMINATOR, IT'S COMPLICATED, I AM LOVE, ALL THE LOVE IN THE WORLD, DAYBREAKERS, HAPPY FAMILY, HATCHET, REMEMBER ME, LIFE IS A WONDERFUL THING, SUNSHINE CLEANING, PRINCE OF PERSIA, A PROPOSAL TO SAY YES, CLASH OF THE TITANS, THE CRAZIES, WHAT MORE DO I WANT, IRON MAN 2, VAMPIRE ASSISTANT, NIGHTMARE (THIS IS A BEAUTIFULL AND GOOD RAPE!), ROBIN HOOD, SEASON OF THE WITCH... I'm all a shudder...

5, just for the matter of the "Albano and Romina Power of the drone doom metal scene"!

Aside from the fact that the screenplays for both films were practically written in parallel, chronologically speaking (both productions started in 2007, with "CODICE: GENESI," as you call it, being revised multiple times by Washington himself after he joined the project, in which he actively and financially participated). But the thing I wonder is: how can you label a film like this as even "TEOCON"? Do you have any idea what you're saying? Why, on the other hand, does The Road not have all the characteristics of the clichéd "American way" of making a "post-apocalyptic" film? I think you've got the wrong approach, or perhaps you didn't understand what I meant in the review, especially considering that we're talking about films that present two completely different settings/aesthetic and scenic solutions. Not to mention that Viggo Mortensen, in my opinion, is as bad (or presumed to be so) a character actor as Charlize Theron has been over the last five years, who may be the 3rd sexiest woman in the world, but hasn't done anything noteworthy for a long time! Honestly, I must confess my satisfaction in hearing you use the adjective "trash": yes, you're right, and finally! There's a lot of trash, an enormous amount, not to mention the madness that abounds in this film. Just a small concluding question: if the world ended, do you really think Denzel Washington would go around what's left of America carrying a Bible and gutting Christians? I really don't think so. And I also believe you haven't understood that we’re talking about a film here, making me even doubt that you've actually seen it.
