Plank was one of my favorite producers (great collaborations with D.a.f. and Ultravox) and from what little I've heard, he did a good job with our Gianna as well. But isn't Annie Lennox on keyboards a bit of a waste?

These are truly dreadful, a good example of the aesthetics of ugliness typical of power-noise. I have a CD that I haven't listened to in years with some old mp3s possibly downloaded with great difficulty from Napster, especially since their records were in very limited editions and hard to find. And it's true: they "consume" the listener, and their violence really darkens your mood. From my listening experiences, I think only Whitehouse and the late Atrax Morgue are equally intensely violent.

Supersoul's speech might have some merits, but it's a bit too radical. After all, a good part of the late '70s groups went through the punk/new wave/dance route, but that doesn't mean their discographies should be entirely flushed down the toilet; otherwise, we would have to flush the toilet for Joy Division/New Order, John Lydon, and many others too.

And I can proudly say that I saw the Datura (hierba del diablo-datura-datura-datura...) live back in '92, isn’t that something? Jokes aside, the EP in question is truly remarkable, and the incredibly dark cover of The Doors is brilliant.

I received it as a gift in '88 and I still have it somewhere in the basement. Great C64 emulators can be found online, allowing you to recover all the classic video games that have made history. The review is good and perhaps too technical, but you forgot to mention the fantastic and essential little BASIC programs included in the manual. With these, by writing a page of commands, you could achieve a "stair-step" representation of a green hot air balloon, or what was supposed to be the roar of an engine or the sound of a gunshot.
