Aphex Twin Selected Ambient Works Vol.2
Voto:
It's the only Aphex album I'm missing, but it certainly deserved a more thorough review.
Nine Inch Nails The Fragile
Voto:
Opeth who?
MZ.412 Nordik Battle Signs
Voto:
MZ412? I knew them as an Industrial/power-noise band and not ambient. Still, they were good at that too.
The Libertines The Libertines
Voto:
I have never paid attention to them, also because luckily I don't have time to watch MTV. Anyway, the review is hilarious and original, the pinnacle of The Punisher.
Captain Beefheart and His Magic Band Trout Mask Replica
Voto:
Dear anonymous, "Thirst" is also focused on jazz-noise experiments, and Newton's voice is just slightly less raspy than Beefheart's. They are two different records, obviously, but if the captain had been English and lived during the new wave era, the result would probably have been the same.
Captain Beefheart and His Magic Band Trout Mask Replica
Voto:
Maybe it doesn't matter, but the other day I listened to "Thirst" by Clock Dva again and found it very Beefheartian, perhaps less insane but darker. One must admit that the trout's record has influenced (and is influencing) thousands of musicians from various backgrounds.
David Bowie "Heroes"
Voto:
Maybe you're a bit too "encyclopedic," this is more of an article than a review, but still, good job.
The White Stripes Get Behind Me Satan
Voto:
It means they mirror exactly the clichés of the old blues-rock from 35-40 years ago, namely the Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin.

Yes, it was already there, but this review is particularly thorough and well done, well done Dune Buggy.
Josef K Young And Stupid

I will investigate as well. I think the first thing I'll do is get the compilation you recommended.
