X Alexander77: if "Come as you are" is a masterpiece for you (and of course, it's not bad for me either), listen to the song "Eighties" by Killing Joke and then let me know.

I listened to this album years ago after hearing it praised on the radio, TV, and in magazines. I found nothing special about it; to me, it was just a conventional pop-rock.

Nice album, good songwriting but the sound still needed to mature; here it’s still too impersonal.

Alan Sorrenti Aria
Voto:
Usually, progressive makes me lose interest, but this album instead is one I can actually appreciate, so it’s true that it escapes any labeling. The vocal performance of the good Alan is truly remarkable (has he perhaps inspired John De Leo from Quintorigo?), the music is a bit less impressive, but it is, after all, an album from another planet compared to the rest of the Italian music from the early seventies. Rating: 3.5.

Really good album, even if songs like "Play For Today" seem like tracks from the first album merely "dressed up" with the new sound. "A Forest," however, is a true masterpiece, one of the most beautiful tracks from those years.

Fabbiu, don't you think you've overdone it by including Symphonic Death in DeGeneri Drum&Bass?

"Power, Corruption & Lies" if I were you, I would avoid it like the plague, it was one of my biggest disappointments, I sold it a few months after buying it: catchy melodies and a simplistic sound, horrible singing. "Movement" on the other hand is a gap in my collection and I should like it a lot, sooner or later I have to get it.

Sorry Francesco, but are you the same person who rated this album 5/5 about 13 comments ago?
