Thumbs down, even if not a 1.
Robert Wiene Il Gabinetto del Dottor Caligari

Mmmmh...the version I have is completely in black and white.
Martin Scorsese Taxi Driver
Voto:
Nice, but I saw it too long ago to give it a rating.
Bernardo Bertolucci Ultimo tango a Parigi
Voto:
Well, "piece of shit movie" seems exaggerated to me (and what do you call those that get one star?), let's say it's a film that today seems irreparably dated, especially in its pacing and erotic scenes. However, I don't mind Brando's performance at all. If I have to recommend a film about the consuming passion of a couple's relationship, then "In the Realm of the Senses" by Oshima, which came out just three years after this, is much better. As for Bertolucci, in my opinion, he delivered his best work in "1900."
The Sound Jeopardy
Voto:
Gulp! Re-reading it, I found on the second-to-last line the expression "artistic failure." It should be corrected to "commercial failure."
Robert Wiene Il Gabinetto del Dottor Caligari

I don't want to be the annoying nitpicker, but I was actually contesting the term "colors," since it's a black-and-white film.
Robert Wiene Il Gabinetto del Dottor Caligari
Voto:
Great film, perhaps it was the first to present an ending that completely overturned the plot or at least cast this doubt on the viewer. P.S.: But why is the term "colori visionari" used in the review?
Deca Aracnis Radiarum
Voto:
Great recommendation. Many people speak highly of it, it's time for me to get something of this Deca.
Neneh Cherry Homebrew

What can I say, the few songs I know by her are nice and lively. And then, allow me to express my male perspective: she is an incredible hottie! It’s a shame that she’s no longer in the music biz while Madonna is still around.
Magazine Real Life
Voto:
I woke up one morning with a Hamlet-like dilemma: should I write the eighty-fourth review on Pink Floyd or the eighty-second on Iron Maiden? In the end, I decided to write the first one about Magazine.
@Mommy'sLittleMonster: about the comparisons you've made, I can't say much since I've only listened to a few tracks from "Songs To Remember" and subsequent albums by Scritti Politti (and I must say they didn't impress me much). As for Subway Sect, unfortunately, I know nothing about them; I'll see if I can fill that gap. If you like post-punk, I can only recommend the underrated yet excellent Josef K, for whom I wrote a review a couple of years ago, and who has recently been rediscovered by Ondarock.
As for Magazine, I'm sure that if Devoto had focused solely on the compositional side and entrusted the vocal part to a top-notch singer, I would have definitely given this album an extra star.
