Great review. The Banshees are among my favorites, and sooner or later, I'll make this box set mine. Of the tracks you mentioned, I know "An Execution" and "Umbrella," which were included as bonuses on the "Tinderbox" CD, and they were really excellent, even better than the "official" tracks.

Indeed, the two tracks I know ("Skizzo Skizzo" and "Vilentami") are shamelessly Ramones, even bordering on plagiarism. Nothing exceptional but very entertaining, that's for sure. If Jo Squillo had been dead at the time or had been English, maybe this record would have many more admirers.

Dark nights! What memories. That’s where I discovered a lot of good music that I still listen to today, and in the venue I used to go to (Vinile in Rosà - VI), those nights weren't tainted by any kind of metal. Who knows why some places mix shit with dark chocolate, maybe because they’re both dark?

The new album "Young Modern" (!!), already seems like a self-parody from its title. Maybe they've made a track that copies "Come As You Are". I don't know why, but I think I won't buy it.

I don't know the album, but I'm one of the fools who sat through "Elephant" thinking it was a masterpiece, a hope that vanished immediately upon the first listen. They’re not for me, too "nostalgic." The review is brief and manages not to say anything at all.
