I'm looking forward to it too, but I'm not expecting much. I didn't mind the last one, but it's now clear that their albums are becoming increasingly irrelevant to the history of rock.

Well, Domo, labeling "A Forest" as a pop song seems exaggerated to me. Besides the fact that it lasts over 6 minutes with long instrumental sections, it's definitely not the usual verse-chorus-verse-chorus; in fact, if I think about it, it doesn't even have a chorus.

Well, my wife paid 100 ? for George Michael... (well, it was a reserved seat, but for George Michael)

Probably not a masterpiece, but at least it freed us from that chart-topping metal-hard-rock crap that was dominating at the time.

But why was the Palladio cinema closed? And above all, why don’t they reopen it?

A truly interesting album full of ideas but also with flaws. For example, I find it a flaw to have concentrated the atmospheric tracks at the beginning and the more rhythmic and driving ones in the second part; it would have been better to alternate them, as there's a risk of yawning in the first fifteen minutes, even though "Ulakanakulot" and "Decline and Fall" are captivating tracks. Personally, I prefer the more rhythmic songs on this record, such as "Walls Of Jericho," "Caucasian Walk," and "Pagan Lovesong." I agree with those who say that Prugne Vergini have many ideas but can also be a bit meandering. The Mute reissue adds interesting bonuses like "Dave-id is Dead."

Sorry for replying a bit late, Philosopho, but I think that many artists or so-called artists make records by more or less following a genre or copying other artists. Then we can discuss whether these people can define themselves as artists or not, but that's another consideration.

The usual expression of futile anger, good for kids pissed off at the world because their mom won't buy them the latest model of a cell phone.

Great review, especially the metaphor about having too much on the plate. I need to listen to the album.
