Roger Waters Amused To Death
Voto:
in fact, it's unclear whether he's for real or just messing with us...

I bow to the reviewer who wrote a true gem of critical analysis for an album... even if the best part is that 2 given to the review by the guy who started by writing "un'artista"... he deserves a standing ovation from all debaseriani... :-)
Battisti / Panella Il Cofanetto
Voto:
I had missed this review, which shines more for its originality than for its style... in any case, it is appropriate and incisive... what to say about the box set, the 5 goes to the musical content and not to the packaging... my advice is to buy the 5 Panellian discs separately, spaced three months apart, using the time in between to listen to them at least once a day... perhaps in reverse chronological order...
Renato Zero Amore Dopo Amore
Voto:
the last good album by Renato Zero, the review, written decently, oozes nothing but arrogance and disrespect...
Adriano Celentano Io Non So Parlar d'Amore

most respectable opinion

The initial message was not addressed to those who disagreed, but to those who, as I have already had the opportunity to write, shy away from Italian light music for any reason. It wasn't a prohibition to enter but rather a piece of advice to unrepentant lovers of foreign music not to waste time reading the lines written by a passionate fan of this genre. Another matter: Celentano as an interpreter. The comparison with Nek and Antonacci is very serious. It underscores the fact that you have no idea about the musical and artistic history of Celentano, and that you have never done an in-depth listening of his songs. From the standpoint of the delivery of songs, Mina and Celentano as interpreters are on par, with the necessary distinctions, being one female and the other male. Mina is certainly more gifted in terms of vocal range. For the rest, they both made history in Italian music, whether you like it or not. In comparison, Nek and Antonacci, whom you mentioned, and Cammariere himself, whom I consider an extraordinary performer live (have you ever attended one of his concerts?) are nobody.
Paul Rodgers Now

passionate declaration of love for one's idol, written very well...but it is not a review

look Dave, the problem isn't about speaking or being silent, that's for sure; it's only right and just that everyone shares their views on everything. It's a principle of democracy! However, I believe it would be a great benefit if everyone talked about what they know and, if they want to express themselves on what they don't know, they should do it with humility. This applies generally, beyond music and this site. As you can notice, and I’m not saying this to show off but just to highlight my ignorance in many music genres, you will rarely find my comments on classical, jazz, or folk albums... simply because I understand too little about them and I limit myself to just reading about them, if I have the time. Unfortunately, the Internet encourages ostentatious arrogance and there are emblematic examples, like the guy who calls himself the Encyclopedia... and this is a highly diseducational attitude for young people and counterproductive for those who adopt it.

Frankly, I don’t even know why you keep writing. You use such weak arguments that a little common sense and knowledge is enough to dismantle them… either you learn to respond appropriately, or it’s better to remain silent.

Cammariere is a singer-songwriter and not an interpreter; as for Morgan, let's be serious... Celentano as an interpreter is beyond discussion. He's been a solid figure for 50 years.
