But no no! aahaahaha I didn't explain myself well; it was about the smoothness, which wasn't the only aspect I appreciated about the book. No way, no way, no controversies, you go ahead!

Well, I wouldn't want to get into pointless discussions.
But even without bringing Gramsci into it, it's just a matter of objectivity; the review ends up having, unintentionally, the same rhetoric that it criticizes in the album.

I don't know. It's like shooting at the Red Cross; and at the same time, there's so much hypercriticism for ridiculous music just because it leans right, but never for that of the extreme left, which can be just as rhetorical. In short, rhetoric has no political color.
Then, well, you make that very conscientious introduction and end up talking about "culture" as if it were something inherently leftist.
And that "the only thing that remains for the left" while always discussing "art" and "culture."
In my opinion, there's a difference between talking about an album and discussing one's political ideas.
No offense, but you came across as self-indulgent.

Thank you. I'm afraid not, maybe some box sets with Lang's works. I got this in VHS format from the library.

What a beautiful page!
Well done; just yesterday, at Euronics, I picked Kicking Television by Wilco (sight unseen) instead of this, so did I make a mistake?

Beautiful, beautiful review.
Never seen.

Thank you, Polka.
Unfortunately, I never pay enough attention.
For example, where I wrote "More than anything, you will be amazed by the humanity that manages to emerge,"
the comma shouldn't be there, right?
Ingmar Bergman L'uovo del Serpente

I didn't know him, not that I'm an expert on Bergman, but anyway, great review.

I didn’t explain myself well. What I appreciated about this book, what gives it value in my opinion, is how it addressed the topic of cultural differences between the more religious community and the secular one without resorting to easy irony or simplistic solutions. Yes, the title is misleading. I believe it was an editorial choice; in the original language, it's the same, probably to attract attention. Ah, I could spend hours discussing Cechov-Carver! :)
