I didn't like "Eminence Front" on "Athena"; I've heard mixed opinions. Anyway, this album has never interested me. Well done, you managed to speak politely about an album, considering the band that produced it, which is disappointing.

I don't understand why they are mocked: is it because they are fashionable or because they are derivative? In either case, the problem isn't that serious; they have set the trend, not followed it. Clearly, they are now part of it and they must also make their exit if they have the talent. And besides, there are plenty of derivative groups out there.

Maybe this is a cause. ossian1973, your reasoning is objective; still, I can count myself among those with an oversized ego. What’s annoying is how certain people—actually, many—act all put out in front of reviews they don’t appreciate, as if the world should revolve around the perfection of a review. Here, however, anyone can write, and it’s all done out of passion—it’s a great opportunity to talk about what we like. But if reviews are ghettoized with acid and haughty comments, then we’re not in a good place. Anyway, I just wanted to be provocative.
