“.... but a bullet has always been lodged in my body.” This phrase was enough to pique my curiosity… I ask for nothing more than a review… just touch me! Nick manages to do it every time. The album is beautiful (thanks Turkish!), Smith's voice is metallic yet velvety at the same time, as only he can be. I give it an extra point, but it's just the first listen; I can get easily excited about it… perhaps after a more in-depth listen I might become more demanding. The controversies of before3? Honestly, I don’t understand them and given the tones used, they don’t even deserve a response. The critiques of Maledetta? Listen, Maledetta, if you don’t stop picking on Tonino, I’ll come and find you and tear you apart brutally! Kapito?

Not bad, but throughout the listening, I couldn't shake the feeling of something being incomplete...

Well, even mom's baked pasta, if eaten 7-8 times a day for 5 days in a row, gets boring! Just like a Jimi solo, or even more so this album. No revelations, just a good cocktail of music. But be careful with the cocktails, Nick! You're risking alcohol coma...

I know a CD by DJ Krush featuring Toshinori Kondo on trumpet and I think Bill Laswell on bass... I heard it played in a club in Berlin: unbearable!
