dEUS In A Bar, Under The Sea

Yes, very well written. I don't know about you: for me, with dEUS, there are periods - quite long ones - when I can't listen to anything else. I really love this CD. The debate about the influences from R.E.M. is amusing. Knowing both bands well, I would say there's a little something there, even though I'd never thought about it.
AA.VV. A Quentin Tarantino Film - Kill Bill Vol. 1 - Original Soundtrack
Voto:
In this film, Tarantino begins to indulge in his genius a bit more than usual. The guy is talented, sure, but sometimes going overboard with the trash and the (self)quotations doesn’t pay off. Not anymore, at least in my opinion. Still, there are the usual, wonderful moments of great cinema in this film as well, so it’s worth seeing only in theaters, I would say. As for the soundtrack, which didn’t excite me (after that of Jackie Brown... - beautiful film by the way), The Lonely Shepherd (final duel) reminded me of my childhood: a James Last cassette... did any of you other old-timers have it?

I’ll copy them for you at Christmas.
Motorpsycho + Jaga Jazzist Horns In The Fishtank (Vol. 10)

A beautiful review for a beautiful album. The Jaga Jazzist are also Norwegian, and as a full band, they consist of 10 members (which is quite a large portion of the entire Norwegian population). Considering all the Norwegian artists reviewed on de-baser, technicians, producers, etc., we should now have covered at least 70% of the Norwegian population. DE-Norge (or DE-Noreg)!

Oh: just take a look for yourself.

I've always been intrigued by Tori Amos's "dangerous" associations... Trent Reznor, Maynard James Keenan...

Finally, a review of Tori Amos! Imagine, I was waiting for the release of the compilation to write one... but I wasn’t very eager to buy it, the compilation (which has since been released), because I already have all the albums and I'm against compilations. Basically, I would have bought it just to review it on DE-Baser! Your timing and willingness to review an album from the past saved me the expense. Thank you.

Let's stop using terms like "accuse." But who is accusing you? Of what? And even if they were, what do you care? Did you receive a letter from some law firm, right?

jk: I went to read (not everything because I don't have enough time). In fact, it's not your best review, but if you stopped writing because of the comments that followed, I would say you took it a bit too personally. But why all these issues with accepting criticism? True, sometimes it's expressed with a bit too much arrogance, sometimes it's unfair, etc. But why do you care? It's not like there are any consequences, right? From criticism, take what can be useful to you, leave the rest there. That's it. Easy. And it applies to everyone. No point in getting angry. Even cliffburton: it's clear that some of your reviews are written very poorly, and that bothers many people: write them with more care instead of lashing out at those who point it out.
