For a while now, I've noticed that the demonstrative adjective "codesto" is being used, I don't know, maybe because it sounds vaguely lofty and cultured. Now: "codesto" indicates an object close to the listener and not to the speaker. It is assumed that someone reviewing a work has it right there with them (even if only in a broad sense, that they have internalized it, in short), while the readers of the review may or may not have the work (know it). Therefore, the reviewer should use – to indicate the object of their review – the adjective "questo," unless they imagine being in a context where everyone has (knows) the work except for him/her (a possible but paradoxical situation). So, today I felt like nitpicking and pointing out this little thing.

It's true, kids love the Beatles. A few years ago, my kids also really liked Rage Against the Machine, or rather "Killing in the Name," but I don't know how much was due to the music and how much to the fact that I blasted it at full volume and swung them back and forth holding them by their arms.
