In short. I really liked them a lot back in the (prehistoric) days of the review by @[condor] (https://www.debaser.it/british-sea-power/the-decline-of-british-sea-power/recensione), then they definitely went downhill... This isn't too bad, but it's not beautifullllly either.

Nice feedback. The thing is: 1) they are really good over there; 2) they don't overthink things and one day they sing nursery rhymes, the next day they play with Röyksopp or M83, and the day after that they sing the Norwegian national anthem because it's May 17th or “så går vi rundt om en enebærbusk” while making a circle around the Christmas tree… In short, unlike many others, they never forget that yes, “they are just little songs,” but if you put something of yourself into it…

I've been listening to it quite often since it was released: I like it. I'm afraid that sooner or later some advertiser will notice this record (of course it's already happened) and will include it in some clip... and as far as I'm concerned, it will be a bad moment.
