Burzum Det Som Engang Var

Finally: 1. no one wants to "ban Burzum" (in fact, as you can see, there is still); 2. the Norwegian judiciary has already taken care of condemning him for murder (and who else would do it); 3. the artist's public acts are fucking terrible, and the private ones are pitiful.

I see that you didn't read my comment a little above: I was referring to the recent history, etc. etc., but who cares. And who cares if history is your field: it's clear that you don't know today's Norwegians, who are the ones I'm talking about.
Even in Norway, as in Denmark, there is a state religion (they aren't secular, like Italy): that is Lutheranism. The fact that Odinism is tolerated and maybe even subsidized doesn't mean it's a "state religion," you know? Don't you think you just said something really stupid?
Anyway, I've listened to Burzum and it really pisses me off. I've also read his biography (the one written by him that circulates on the official website) and that pisses me off too. To show my willingness to get closer to Burzum, I even married a Norwegian and spend a lot of time in Norway, right in Bergen where Burzum grew up... and nothing, man, it continues to really piss me off.
You're probably right, I don't have a neuron in my head, I'm only capable of talking nonsense (which isn't easy either, you know!)

Sissel Kyrkjebø is the Norwegian equivalent of Laura Pausini. Oh my, she also does a bit of opera, you know. In Bergen, her hometown, she is the idol of both young and old. I don't know this Espen, but from his physical appearance (and the fact that I've never seen - the record, not him - in any of my acquaintances' homes in Norway) I think... no, come on, I'm not saying it.

Little star, I sing it to my kids to lull them to sleep. It's strange, the first time I sang it to them I remembered the lyrics perfectly even though I hadn't heard it in at least twenty years. Beautiful song, they appreciate it a lot as well. I'm also fond of this record, just like all the old records by DeGregori, after all.

"Quite often I have met Black Metal fans in prison, or I have received letters from Black Metal fans in Norway, who complained to me about the fact they cannot find any Burzum albums in any record shops anywhere in Norway. The explanation to this is that Burzum is not distributed in Norway, and has not been since 1993, because nobody in the Norwegian music business will distribute or sell Burzum albums, often out of fear they too will be persecuted by left-wing extremists if they do, but more often because they are left-wing extremists themselves (or they are Judeo-Christians)."

If Berlusconi reads this, the count has a future in parliament here in Italy!
Besides having read his "apologia" (from which the excerpt above is taken), I also listened to some music (everything is on allofmp3.com) and read a few lyrics. Now I can say it with certainty: he is a poor fool and his music is crap.
Aloha!

Really? Are there really so many metal bands inspired by the Etruscans? Please, tell me a few names so I can look them up, I'm curious. Anyway, I didn't say they don't exist; I just said that if they did, I would find it ridiculous. And I can say that even if "I don't know," you know what I mean? It's just an opinion. Now I know (you told me) and I find it ridiculous. However, I would gladly listen to them. OK? Let me know the names of the bands.

But where did you deduce that I, being superficial, wouldn't understand "the meaning of his songs"? I don't know. In any case: Jack relaxes me too. So what?

Hello nargum: I remind you that inciting racial hatred is a crime (and that you are easily identifiable), so I deleted part of your antisemitic comment.

Every time I go to Bergen (and I go there often), I make a stop at Grieg's house. Because the view from the window of the study reveals a lot of things. A lot.
