Spectacular, engaging, well-made, etc., of course, all true and, in fact, I didn't miss it and I'm not regretting it. But as you yourself write, the idea is already 15 years old; it only lacked the money and the technological means to realize it. I think that there have been other "metalinguistic reflections" on the cinematic medium in the meantime, and much deeper ones.

Oh my God, the album is already a few years old, it's not his latest one, and, well, it's really hard to think that it might come off as "difficult and unlistenable" to anyone. At most, it might be found boring after a few listens. The cover of Heartbeat is gorgeous.

I instead found the part that caused you so much dismay to be truly poetic: to condense the life of a couple into a few minutes in such a beautiful way requires infinite mastery: those ten minutes are an absolute masterpiece. My children (7 and 10 years old) enjoyed the film very much. Children have fantastic abilities for reworking, interpreting, and understanding. What disheartens you does not necessarily have the same effect on them (in fact, it usually doesn’t). Moreover, I really don’t see what is disheartening about such a normal and romantic story.
