This album cannot compensate for the dissociation between lyrics and music: the music is not transcendental in itself; indeed, it is quite simple soft rock. It is the union of the two that makes the construction a cathedral of poetry. Beautiful!

Anyway, with "The sky splits open to a dull, red skull," the "Dama" (English tabloids sometimes mockingly refer to him like this) is a playful way to momentarily suspend his alter ego with red hair and rebellious spirit, a certain Ziggy Stardust, to serenely accept being accompanied by a warm, reassuring, protective female figure as well (The moon flows on to the end of the world because of you - Thanks to you, the Moon ends at the end of the world). Bowie is THE poet...

For Cleo (and make sure you don't miss it!), or rather, more generally to all those who want to see a live performance elegantly played above average:

In reality, there are six with Ziggy, but that one, as we know, is in a league of its own and cannot be compared to anything else.

Tommy, The lamb lies down on Broadway, The White Album, Sgt. Pepper, Bitches Brew... These are my 5 favorite albums: it's up to you to judge if they are history or not. And then music cannot be concealed behind secrets: music belongs to everyone, it is for everyone, and I strive for its widest possible propagation. In this light, why mock me?

I know I joked with you about Blood Sugar: the difference in the two cases is that the double white is already crystallized in history (like Ziggy Stardust, after all), while BSsexM is still in the phase of "becoming." In fact, it's not in my top 5 albums...

Last very personal comment: the worst album cover by Bowie, you can definitely see (oh yes!) that it’s a result of collaboration with the Fan Club. Fan Club? Fan c…!

This is not music: it’s history! Any word would be trivial and disrespectful to the greatness of the album. One of my 5 favorite records. I’ve bought it about ten times, between my special copies and the ones I’ve given to friends. To review this album, a poet is needed. Alex is not one, and so he was right to avoid making a fool of himself. I understand, although, in reality, I don’t agree. The Album of Albums; anyone who doesn’t have it cannot be considered a connoisseur of music. A must-buy and to be revered. To be prayed to. To be idolized. To be imitated. To be served. To be exalted.
