I took some photos (and I got an interstellar scolding from one of the security guys), but I'm developing them... I took them with flash, let's hope they turned out... :-?

Did you know that young Italian boys attending middle school make, on average, 500% (you read that right: five hundred percent) more grammatical, syntactic, and semantic errors compared to students from fifteen years ago? Did you know that? There must be a reason! Now, I’m not saying that jk makes all these mistakes (that’s not my intention), but putting in a little more effort wouldn’t hurt... Personally, I absolutely hate, for example, the use of "k" instead of "ch" (kiamare - chiamare) and the use of "x" instead of "per" (xchè instead of perchè). The problem is serious; it’s not a trivial matter like deciding whether to write perch"è" or perch"é". I believe I have been clear enough.

For djd (this is how I conclude): true, it’s not a humanistic site, but writing well—where “well” means “easily understandable - engaging” and not necessarily “lyrical” or “poetic” (I absolutely cannot do either of the last two)—encourages frequent reading of other reviews. I believe it’s like that. We’re a big happy family, right? So let’s help each other out; I don’t think I’ve done anything wrong by expressing my concern about the poor quality of some reviews. I didn't come up with the ratings for the reviews; I adapted to the system. You know I never vote (or almost never) on reviews. Of course, if they’re written so poorly, someone has to say something sooner or later! Don’t you think that’s fair? Or do we keep shutting our eyes and praying for a divine change? We need to be the actors in the story, not the spectators. I guess, and you?

Well done, you are elegant. Would you prefer not to receive my criticism? Simple: write better! It’s not a matter of literature but of at least a minimal effort, I believe. And I don't think you have the credentials to push me away. Djd? Well, he and I have a long history, full of ups and downs, but always with mutual respect. Don’t use him as a shield; you should be able to defend yourself, right? If I had something to say to djd, I wouldn’t hesitate to do so; he knows that. With you, it seems I can’t have a candid yet cordial relationship, since you keep writing to me about not “breaking your balls” (do you have any, by the way?) and to get out of here. You know what I’ll say: the more you try to get rid of me with this nonsense, the more I will stick to you. But always and only about what you write. Who you are, what you do, or what you know doesn’t matter to me. I don’t care at all. Bad recession, period. Do you want to continue this sterile conversation? Do you want to keep offending me? Go ahead, everyone else who reads you, besides me, understands a lot about you…

Do you see that you're being excessively aggressive? Sensitive, our jk, huh? "I use capital letters if I feel like it": after such a statement, I reiterate my thoughts on your Italian. Sorry, you're really asking for it! I hope they really give you the Nobel, but I believe you'll have to work a lot harder if you truly want to achieve it...

Luciano is very cultured. Indeed a cultured person, surely. I like it. It’s a pleasure to read you. And you can tell that you gave birth to it in three very laborious hours. With these reviews, the ones from my forum are humbled. GO ON!

No jk, I ALWAYS and ONLY talk about the reviews, that is, what I read, and the albums reviewed. I'm not interested in personal tastes, I'm not interested in prejudices, I'm not interested in the reasons that lead to writing one thing rather than another. It hurts me deeply that you (like many others, after all) took this concrete observation as a personal attack. I won't tolerate being barred from criticizing (even vehemently) things I don’t like, and I don't appreciate generalizing a judgment limited to a specific event as a judgment on the person. I've never allowed myself to express opinions about you (and you know that very well), so I don't understand where all this resentment towards me comes from. I don't kiss anyone's ass; I'm honest first and foremost with myself, and then by reflection with others. I make honesty and the fight against hypocrisy my banner, whether you like it or not. Getting angry over a judgment that you also deemed valid ("I could have definitely written better, in more detail," you wrote, didn't you?) seems excessive, even if in a way understandable. It remains that from people whom I regard as of a certain level, I expect more—A LOT more.

Different points of view, that is. Just like the look to wear: everyone dresses the way they want. But if someone walks around dressed in a shirt, underwear, and socks, they might be straightforward, common, rustic, or whatever you want to call it, but don’t ask me to like it... jk you say you can write professionally? ok, lemme C!
