Scott Henderson Well To The Bone

On Scott Henderson: as a teacher, he's not bad at all. I have the handouts from his clinics in Italy, and they are quite interesting. When he made his transition to the modern music academy in Rome, unfortunately, I couldn't attend; I believe it was in '97, but I managed to get all the materials he taught. Plus, I have two VHS tapes of his methods on improvisation in jazz, and they are full of insights, especially on modal progressions. Regarding the reasoning comment: well, for all logical deductions, if the premise falls, the entire structure collapses, right? In fact, I want to emphasize how blues and jazz never lose the label of elite music (especially jazz), while in reality, this is not true at all. However, this label means that there are always fewer and fewer people who dedicate themselves to listening to these worlds. I don't hide my pity for post-'70s blues, while I listen a lot to the blues from the '40s and '50s. Bye!

A great comment from Kurz. Let's move forward with a deeper exploration of the topic.

Hescher? MC Hescher? The one with the image-illusions-fooling-eyes? As Silvano from "Camera caffè" would say: "TOGO!"

"atarassia" you've heard Mughini say it, right? :D Anyway, great use of poetic license! You're a poetically licensed individual...

Why only one sample out of the three sent? Any problems?

The question that should be studied is the following: - <premise> - since jazz and blues musicians play for people who listen to them because they understand jazz and blues, it can be said that - <main thesis> - jazz and blues musicians play for themselves (as a group of people) - and if this reasoning is correct, then it can also be said that - <corollary to the main thesis> - jazz and blues musicians play for themselves in the sense of "THEIR OWN" selves as physical persons (a group of jazz and blues musicians that is a smaller set compared to the set of people who understand jazz and blues even if they do not necessarily play it) and, reducing everything to the singular case, Scott Henderson "plays for himself."

Ok, this is exactly the kind of review that makes me want to buy the album blind: beautiful! A comment on the record will follow shortly.

Anyway, the "episodic" films that reduce movies to mere TV shows have REALLY become annoying (Matrix, Terminator, Kill Bill, etc.). I leave out the "Lord of the Rings" saga (which is beautiful) because they are very faithful to the Tolkien trilogy and Star Wars because it's... Star Wars!
