It's always the same story: one makes an effort and tries to convey something, to provide a historical testimony that is immediately drowned out by irrelevant criticisms of what they attempted to do. If someone writes a review, THEY DO NOT WRITE IT FOR THEMSELVES, BUT FOR OTHERS, or at least it should be that way. So why is it that for every review from every reviewer there are attached two or three idiotic and brain-dead naysayers who just enjoy destroying every attempt to export a bit of musical culture? Critiques, when necessary, should be of the CONSTRUCTIVE type and not solely aimed at ridiculing the reviewer. In this regard, I agree with those who request a review of the missing part of the event and with those who express some disappointment over this deficiency. However, I strongly diverge from those who use this flaw to mock Rivo, who has once again produced a great description (both emotional as well as objective) of the historical event.

I certainly do not lower myself to ask for permission from a certain JK to express a judgment, as elegantly done by djd. And regarding the relativity of judgments, honestly, I've come to terms with it and I pass over it. So, now and always, Puddle piece of shit. I said. And (only for JK) always I know who I am.

Nightclub is not bad, not bad at all, although the standards are starting to get a little... saturated!

Hey Hal, I read that you listen to John Surman: me too, what do you think of Adventure Playground (I believe it's from 1992) and Upon Reflection (1979)? And how do you find him in Fragments (1986) by Paul Bley with that little monster Bill Frisell?

The copyright law is from 1941, on the day of my birthday. The one on inventions and patents is from 1939. It's clear that they have undergone changes since, but the structure and legislative technique are, unfortunately, outdated.

consider that today many industries allow the demonstrative use of their products at no cost, with the sole obligation of informing the consumer about the origin and ownership of the product. And you already often provide the year of recording and the record label...

Anyway, informing the legitimate owners (the record companies) about the use of their product is already a sign of GOOD FAITH, and in case of a judgement, it can only be evaluated positively. Moreover, it costs little and is a civil and correct attitude.

I will consult with the law firm with which we occasionally collaborate on various activities and I'll let you know. By default, we can already observe how samples (as long as they are truly such) are legal as "demonstrative" material. As for the covers, I know that many sites with large archives are being shut down, and this is due to the record labels. It remains to be seen whether this type of use, as free advertising, is appreciated by the legitimate owners or not. As you well know, unfortunately, in Italy, copyright and invention laws are quite old (royal decrees from 1933, if I remember correctly), making them difficult to adapt to current situations. I will try to be more specific. In excess: forced removal of the multimedia aspect.
