Tygers of Pan Tang The Wreck-Age
Voto:
Here, this is one of the albums I have from the Armando Curcio edition, the one that was supposed to celebrate metal and then stopped after a few releases. I also like it because I don't know the Tygers in their NWOBHM version. AOR without pretensions but still enjoyable, and the title track is a blast.

These eyes saw this cover on a nice 33 RPM record, but honestly I was embarrassed to buy it, opting instead for the more subdued Swallow this live...

I don't know the album but I was able to appreciate Poison with Flesh & Blood, the half live Swallow This Live (nothing memorable), and the excellent Native Tongue (with Richie Kotzen on guitar). They received at least the same amount of derision that many of the so-called boybands would get years later, but in my opinion, they were much more than just a manufactured band.

My dear, why don't you review the Baton Rouge?

I confess a weakness for these colorful glamsters. A really great record, full of electric vibes and Beatles-like sections.

I have Mr Fantasy and John Barleycorn. Encouraged by the review, I ordered it on play.com for 5.50 euros...

I have A work of art and it’s actually a nice little disc, very close to the melodic prog of Act.
White Lion Fight To Survive

Great album, no doubt about it, and Bratta is an excellent guitarist.

Really an interesting band. Indeed, the harmonies are very reminiscent of those of Queen, but a classification is really quite difficult. Let’s stay in the progressive rock realm, anyway.

From them, I have Wasted in America, the next album, and it has never really impressed me. I know that the first one is definitely a classic of the genre, and I've listened to a few songs (by the way, all their albums were available for free download from their website), but honestly, it doesn't seem to me to be on the level of the first Guns N' Roses, the first LA Guns, or the first Faster Pussycat...
