The problem is exactly what you say in post 34: you get bored evaluating the albums seriously, you don’t think about the influences, in short, too much messing around (that’s what you say) and maybe too many hang-ups, who knows... :-)

A disc that comes straight from the '70s. The funky rock here is merely a memory, but Bettencourt's band demonstrates a versatility that's hard to find in other combos. It's a shame that this was their swan song; if there's a band that has suffered more than any other from the advent of grunge, it's definitely Extreme.
