Gianfranco Marziano Terra Terra
Voto:
He is an asshole and a genius at the same time. One man show, great improviser, decent guitarist, he represents a reference point for all the lazy and the slackers. Pieces like "l'aapuntamento" or the same "Terra Terra" could mark him to be remembered in history books.
Unruly Child Worlds Collide
Voto:
The review seems a bit convoluted and may have required at least one more reading. The first self-titled Unruly Child is a classic of melodic rock, even though it was released during the height of the grunge explosion. Good also is Waiting for the Sun from a few years later with Kelly Hansen on vocals. I don’t know this one, but I know it was released by the Neapolitan Frontiers, which is now specializing in unexpected reunions.
Stephen King Cuori in Atlantide

Well done Madame, perhaps you could have added that this book is closely related to and in a certain sense dependent on the Dark Tower saga, perhaps King’s most ambitious work. What can be said about these stories? Probably the best "next generation" King, not on par with his timeless classics but still worth reading and rereading.
Howard Phillips Lovecraft L'ombra su Innsmouth
Voto:
The story is one of Lovecraft's essential works and perhaps the most effective of the Cthulhu cycle. The review is wonderfully written but I didn't understand where it aimed to go. Making humor on these themes could at the very least awaken some entity dormant in forgotten eons.

With all due sincerity, Madame, what do you care if there are so many big kids (or “mammoth boys”, you choose) who indulge in recalling their childhood? What do you lose if there are cover bands roaming around local venues to grab some cash and a few beers? Have you ever thought of not going if they annoy you? And what about the jolly companies that sing cheesy anthems, haven’t you considered that perhaps they’re not suitable for you? Is there a classic gun pointed at your forehead to make you be part of it? Each of us has somewhere a nice little deserted island where we can be at peace with our own affairs, away from others’, find the GPS coordinates of yours…
AA.VV. Telarc Super Test CD (1997)
Voto:
With all the goodwill in the world, but amidst tons of music to discover, the idea of proposing a sample album is the saddest thing ever published on Debaser (even more so than the math textbook). The judgment is even more negative if this album is mainly intended for audiophiles, a category that, far from lumping everything together, has little to do with music, being devoted to the sterile and useless pursuit of listening perfection.
Steve Hackett Live @ Complesso Monumentale del Priamar, Savona 29.07.10

Seen last year in Afragola and I think the band is the same. It confirms Steve's joviality and availability, who despite the late hour (it was past midnight) and exhaustion, was happy to pose for photos and autographs, as well as his great professionalism. Curiosity: did Firth's solo play it with the flute or sax? In Afragola he used the sax...

I agree with Bartle, although I still consider A night at the opera a worthy album. Nonetheless, with them, the genre reached sublime heights.

The film is inspired by a short story by Clive Barker, if I'm not mistaken...

... and from time to time I replay the final scene of the crane, the anal cups are calling for it loudly.
