AA.VV. A Guitar Supreme (Giant Steps in Fusion Guitar)
Voto:
Well, Howe has only been making fusion albums lately, so it doesn't seem that far from the genre...
Derek Sherinian Mythology
Voto:
I've never liked Sherinian, neither with Dream Theater nor, even less, with his solo work or with Planet X. He can certainly play, but he lacks that improvisational skill that a musician of his level should have; moreover, the other supporting musicians, such as Lukater, Garsed, and Mac Alpine, seemed constrained by his compositions. However, with this Mythology, he takes a big step forward and, finally, after various attempts, he creates the excellent album that we've all been waiting for.
Bon Jovi Have A Nice Day
Voto:
The first 4 albums are classics of melodic hard rock. That the band had a strong female following is another matter.
Bon Jovi Have A Nice Day
Voto:
Probably the last decent album by Bon Jovi dates back to the now distant Keep the Faith. After that, little to nothing: flat and monotonous songs, countless ballads, and a visible lack of inspiration album after album.
Mullmuzzler Keep It To Yourself
Voto:
I think he is an excellent studio singer, but he loses a lot in live performances where not even exhaustion can be a justification, given the long instrumental parts that would allow him to rest.
Ozzy Osbourne No Rest For The Wicked
Voto:
Well, eating bats can't be very healthy...
Iced Earth Alive In Athens
Voto:
Alright, let's not exaggerate. There's no doubt that it's a great live performance, but Live After Death by Iron Maiden is part of metal history, something that, for all its merits, this Live in Athens cannot aspire to.
Ozzy Osbourne No Rest For The Wicked
Voto:
I disagree. This album is probably weaker than discs like Bark at the Moon or The Ultimate Sin, which you instead consider to be missteps. Those two albums turn out to be '80s classics. It's not that this album is bad, but it still shows a certain underlying fatigue that the Madman had never demonstrated. Nonetheless, there’s still the great discovery of Zakk Wylde.

Really great album! The track His voice is a masterpiece!
Metallica St.Anger
Voto:
Even good old Hetfield in the middle of a drunken coma knows that any of these songs can't hold a candle to even the worst of the glorious past, so let's not try to find justifications or alternatives: it's a mediocre album, plain and simple.
