Dear Symbad, when I say Uncle Moe's space ranch, what comes to your mind?

So Vai could read and perform the guitar scores that Zappa wrote but couldn't play them. Those who listen closely to Vai will notice the significant influence of Zappa in his music, especially in the album Flexable and Flexable leftovers.

Great Symbad. An album to listen to during restless summer nights.

Let's also keep in mind that the "tamarragine" present in this album is something requested by the fans of the aforementioned guitarists. A Malmsteen who doesn't throw his guitar in the air or a Vai who doesn’t play with a monstrous instrument would likely be booed by the many who gathered to witness a bit of circus activity. However, these gentlemen are not just flashy; they have written important pages in instrumental hard rock.
I like to define Satriani as the guitarist for everyone; let's remember that his early albums had a reach and accessibility that went well beyond guitar enthusiasts, and the fact that his compositions have often been used for advertising jingles or as background music for television services clearly indicates the artist's attitude aimed at the masses and not just a select few.

Good review. If I'm not mistaken, he had a concert in Milan some time ago; anyway, he's perhaps one of the best old-school guitarists.
